Books and articles about slave resistance?

I've been researching slavery and I've become especially interested in slave resistance (particularly the Stono Rebellion). I looked through the book list but I was hoping some of our wonderful flaired users (or others) could suggest more sources. I'm mostly interested in the context of the southern U.S. if that makes a difference in your suggestions. I'm not necessarily interested solely in violent resistance. I'd love to learn more about other methods of resistance too. Thanks a lot!

Another user messaged me about a reading list on maroon communities (escaped slaved communities), so I'll copy-paste that here. Most of this is heavily based on archaeological evidence, which is mostly due to my training/specialty. Hopefully, someone else can bring in the historical side of things.

Not directly related, but I answered another question a while back about the continuation of African religious/cultural practices in the U.S. which naturally led to some discussion of resistance through continuing these practices despite attempts at Christianization. Not much to go on, but at least adds a little about resistance among domestic/plantation slaves, rather than maroons.
