Are there any examples of two armies destroying each other so severely in a single battle that it caused neither victory nor defeat and resulted in the end of the war?

Army 1 and Army 2 meet on the field of battle slaughter each other so badly there was no clear winner and because resources were so depleted from the battle fighting couldn't continue afterwards?

There are instances of this happening but in usually ended with each army simply packing up and going home because they were no longer combat effective and would be turn apart if sent into the other's country. These are often known as Pyrrhic victories. One side may effectively route the other from the field of battle for a day, but it usually reforms then both have to turn around and return home due to sustaining so many casualties.
