After the official end of WWII all across the world were there still tiny groups of soldiers who refused to surrender/give up? Were there any recorded casualties from such guerrilla forces against the allied forces after the end of the war?

For example, I had read about a Japanese soldier who did not surrender until about the 1970s and reminded hiding in a jungle in SEA & they actually brought his CO to contact him and force him to lay down his arms.

Were there other similar instances in Europe or other parts of Asia? Did any German soldiers refuse to acknowledge the surrender and continued to fight in a guerrilla fashion and injure/kill unsuspecting allied soldiers?

on the 7th of may 1945, two days after the German surrender, thousands of Dutch people were waiting on the arrival of Canadian troops in Amsterdam. Some members of the Kriegsmarine had placed a machine gun on the balcony of the 'Grote Club' on the corner of the Kalverstraat and the Paleisstraat. These German Soldiers were possibly drunk and started shooting into the crowds.

120 people were injured and 22 death, later studies suggest upto 33 deaths.
