Why did the ancient Greeks and Romans have a thing about tripods? Was there something about the number three being mystic or the stability of the three legged stool?
Least number of legs that can be stable, the same reason we use tripods for a lot of things today, I suppose. What makes you say the ancient Greeks and Romans especially had a big obsession with it?
