I'm going to assume you mean whether there was a plan to invade prior to Operation Barbarossa, since 1945 did see eastern Germany invaded.

Then again the same piece you've linked references David Glantz but seems to pretty much strawman his arguments. So I guess if you're not convinced you really should read Stumbling Colossus for yourself.

I've seen a few people throw around the idea that Germany was very concerned about the possibility, especially after the winter war between Finland and Russia, but other than that speculation not a lot. It's very possible there was a kind of plan akin to Operation Unthinkable, but probably not something that was expected to be put into play, at least not at that time.
