Old map with some interesting misconceptions/errors

I picked up an old map shellacked onto a wooden board at an even older thrift store the other week because it looked super interesting and I was wondering if anyone could tell me a bit about it? I'm under no illusions about it being original and am completely confident it's a reproduction. But a reproduction of what? and when was the original made? It has some odd ideas about the geography of the Americas, Oceania and even Africa a bit. Hopefully someone more knowledge about the history of cartography can give a break down of the more interesting geographical errors. One that does stand out to me is that north of england it seems to show a non-existent island named Frislant.
