The reasoning behind this question is we must remember to consider those who carried out the Holocaust as human beings, not monsters. That being said, if you take a human being and make it their job to kill hundreds of people within mere minutes if not seconds, how did that affect the "executioners" life afterwards. Were there Officers who committed suicide not from fear of persecution, which Im 100% sure many did, but from sheer Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. These people were soldiers after all, if not worse. Many men in Vietnam were devastated by that war, now not technically the same but Soldiers did kill innocent people. Whether they knew it or not is a different story. But in interviews some say they were just doing their job. Others regret what they did to this day. So there is the context to my question.
