It has become more well known (and more well maligned) the influence that one partisan states' textbook decisions have on the nation as a whole. I'm curious how this lopsided situation came to being and also of if there has been movement to change it.
It's a big state, and therefore a big market. Wonder why you can buy a recliner in South Carolina and find a tag confirming compliance with California regulations? Same story.
