This isn't the kind of thing we usually do on here, but I'll try to help as much as I can. That is an extremely cheap and utterly inaccurate mock-up of a Union Army officer's frock coat and trousers. It is made of synthetic materials, the cut is extremely poor, and the colors are wildly off. About the only thing it gets right is that both uniforms are blue.

If you are a new member of a reenacting unit, I highly encourage you speak to your leadership about what is and is not acceptable. I cannot imagine any semi-reputable unit encouraging or even allowing you to wear such a thing. If you are not in a unit, I cannot recommend it enough over attempting to go it alone. You will save yourself time, money, and hassle in spades.
