What was the turn of events which lead to Napoleon Bonaparte invading Russia, after having previously been at war with them in the Third Coalition and then supporting them to take Finland in 1808/09?

I'm interested as to how the relations between Russia and France changed throughout the Napoleonic period. What happened between the Third Coalition (which had Russians fighting against the French), the Finnish War of 1808-09, and the Grand Armee's invasion of Russia?
