Really enjoyed the first one as a former colleague (now retired) was among the first hand-chosen nuclear submariners, interviewed personally by Rickover. He was between his ugrad and PhD, the Vietnam War was looming, so he took his father's advice and enlisted in the navy. Rickover's cabal noticed his high technical qualifications and offered him a position in the new nuclear sub cadre.
The piracy post is very interesting to me as I have been reading up on Mediterranean piracy in the 1400s-1700s.
