Sorry if this isn't the place, but it's what first sprung to mind.
I'm wondering what colour this license plate is.
I'm from England, so I don't even know which state it's from... I guessed Colorado, but now I'm assuming District of Columbia?
I did a Google search, but all of them seem to be different and I'm having trouble even finding one with the same lettering.

For 1925, the plates had white letters on a dark gray background.
