Popular culture:

• Does Modern Turkish cooking have its roots in the Byzantine Empire?

• When did pizza become fairly standardized in terms of toppings?

Nationalism:

• Why is 'nationalism' considered a modern concept?

• Have the Kurds ever had a state? If not why have they never been able to create one?
