The caption for this photo is "Men, women, and children massacred on steps" and the date range given is between 1934–1956. I stumbled upon it while looking through Leslie Jones collection on Digital Commonwealth. From what I understand, Leslie Jones mainly took photographs in Boston, Massachusetts. The subjects in this photo look Asian. Is anyone able to give any context to this photo?
Are you sure you are linking to the correct photograph? The link I get is to a photograph of the killing of gangster Al Brady and two of his accomplices by the FBI outside Dakins Sporting Goods store in Bangor, Maine, October 1937.
It does not show any dead women or children or anyone of a particularly "Asian" appearance.
