Where does that statement come from?

Although I don't doubt you have a reasonable question, I suggest it's too loaded to answer with a meaninful degree of impartiality. Philosophically, what's tolerance, what's it's value, how do you measure it historically, politically, religiously, etc.?? There's a fairly complex set of questions that I would want to engage in even before examining a treatment of intolerance in any one of these religions at any particular place and period, and that's before you get to the problems of comparing historically different instances across religions.
