So i'm watching this documentary from RT and it states the US was making target lists for nuclear weapons in the USSR in October 1945. Is this in fact correct or is this just the pro-Russian/anti-American bias of the documentary.
/u/restricteddata touched upon this subject in one of his blog posts. The target list/map wasn't created as an actual plan to attack, but to give an estimate of the size of a nuclear arsenal required to knock out the industrial capacity of the USSR.
