We see sculptures and art by Roman and Greek artists which are amazing and are almost realistic with perception and muscles structures within their art, but there is a great absence of such art when the WRE falls. We then see a revival of such art when the Italian states start to get interested in Roman culture and history.
My main question is how could the ability to draw and sculpt "disappear" for almost a thousand years in Europe?
