IT'S BAAACK TO SCHOOL KIDS (of all ages) AND TEACHERS. Please share your favorite SkoolLifeHacks!

  1. Save to Google Drive Plug In: attempting to vacuum all they pdfs you can out of the school's databases? Click click click boom, send them all to your Google drive, let God sort them out. Our you sort them out yourself later, more like.
  2. Evernote: everyone but me uses Evernote so I feel obliged to mention it.
  3. Your school's VPN: Google "school name" + VPN and sort it out. This is useful to set up on your computer because a) if you're on the VPN many subscription products will recognize you as "on campus" and auto-pass you through the login, and b) often you can use expensive school software at home with this too. Just a reminder to look into it.
  4. Send to Kindle for Google Chrome 70% of the time it works every time, but eh, marginally useful to Kindelians. Dismal at PDFs in my experience.
  5. Google Scholar Alerts: sends you email digests with things per your keywords that have been indexed to Google Scholar and Google Books recently. You will likely have to sift through a lot of dreck but it's interesting.
