It's a passionate polemic about centuries of oppression and discrimination: I don't think it could be accused of erring on the side of balance or objectivity, but it's a highly political topic. Accurate? The injustices it portrays did happen, and injustices remain. It did seem momentarily to lurch into the realm of "white slaves" myth - white indentured servants were never "seen as more-or-less the same as African slaves" - but mercifully pulled back. 35 years was also a good life expectancy in global terms in Colonial times, and if you were around twenty like most entering indenture, you could hope to live to be a good deal older than that (though life was undoubtedly harsh and risk high). Its heart's in the right place, but it could have said more and toned down the attack.
