The film shows Eazy-E as being up in arms after the departure of Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. He is also depicted as going broke and returning to drug sales. However, Eazy-E put out several platinum albums after Dre's departure. In addition, I'm fairly sure that Eazy-E got a lucrative deal upon Dre's departure, hence the lyric "Dre Day makes Eazy's pay day." What does AskHistorians think?
