Eleanor is more difficult, as the best studies are in French I can't recommend any English study in particular but there are two excellent collections of essays:

Jean Flori, Aliénor d’Aquitaine (Paris 2004).

Jean Markale, Aliénor d’Aquitaine, (Paris, 1979).

eds B. Wheeler and J.C. Parsons, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Lord and Lady, (New York and Basingstoke, 2002).

eds M. Bull and C. Léglu, The World of Eleanor of Aquitaine : Literature and Society in Southern France between the Eleventh and Thirteenth Centuries, (Woodbridge, 2005).

Besides the provided answers, if it's your cup of tea you could look up Cecelia Holland's Secret Eleanor: A Novel of Eleanor of Aquitaine and Nora's Song. They're historical fiction, but they read nicely.

[April Queen by Douglas Boyd] (http://www.amazon.com/April-Queen-Aquitaine-Douglas-Boyd/dp/0752459120) gives a good exploration of Eleanor for what she is at the time: An heiress. It's an easy read, and it brings Eleanor's humanity. I'm kind of in the middle of it right now.
