One of the largest ones would be Oregon Question, where the British and Americans both had colonial ventures into the Oregon Territory, with tensions growing with chants like "54 (referring to the 54th parallel) or Fight!" which ended with the Oregon Treaty of 1846, settling the border on the 49th parallel.

The rapid expansion of the British Northwest Territories can also partially be attributed to fears of the US moving further north.
