Link doesn't work- mind rehosting the pic or finding another?

I couldn't find any scholarly sources, but pictures of the armlets recovered from tombs suggest they were created with appearance in mind. Those I looked at were gold and inlaid or beaded with semi-precious stones. There may be symbolic or political reasons for an armlet that I am unaware of, but at the minimum they looked fashionable when worn.
