It's worth noting that USSR didn't declare war on Japan until the very end of the war, so it's navy was not very active in the Pacific. Japan had been using airspace near Attu island earlier which was very close to USSR's border and I am not aware of this bothering Russia at all, not to mention anything involving Nazi Germany.
