Everyone who knows anything about Vikings knows that their helmets didn't actually have horns. However, I wonder why do most people think they did? Where does this myth come from?

I think it might have something to do with the Christians who the Vikings thought- it's possible they connected them with the devil, who is usually portrayed with horns, but it's just my speculation.
