Lately i have been fascinated with the history of India a place filled with amazing culture, history, many great empires, ancient origins, all the good stuff. But all the documentaries i have found barely scratch the surface, very often just skimming over many important periods in India's history. Do any of you have any suggestions on some good, reliable, detailed documentaries about India and its past? Books as well. (i haven't read any books on that subject so i cant really add more to that). No prefference in any specific period in history or anything, other than anything before the British Raj
