It would depend on the size of the conflict, the nations involved, the forces in opposition and other political factors. That said, we do have the examples of Korea and Vietnam to look at.

In both cases, air bridges were established through Alaska and Hawaii to transport high-priority cargo and aircraft from the contiguous 48 states to the battlefield.

We also know that nuclear weapons were pre-deployed at locations in Alaska and the central Pacific (notably Guam) for use in Asia if needed, as many Asian nations have taboos against the stationing of nuclear weapons in their territory.

There would be an extensive sea-lift operation to bring soldiers to the fighting front, and that sea-lift would be conducted principally from ports in California.

The U.S. Navy, throughout the Cold War, stationed aircraft carriers in the western Pacific, and these were in action very quickly in both the Korean and Vietnamese conflicts. These would also be available in the event of any hypothetical conflict.
