The harsh reactions to Syrian/MENA migrants being shown all over the headlines makes me wonder how Western Europe (and even newly-freed Central Europe) reacted when floods of people were fleeing their homes the European geopolitical neighbourhood and seeking shelter and peace pretty much anywhere else.
