Is the ethnic name of the Parthians related to the Sanskrit word Parth?

So, the term "Parthian" comes from the historical region in northern Iran called "Parthava." When Arsakes in 247BC invaded as the head of the Aparni tribe, he specifically invaded the region of Parthava, thus leading to his dynasty being (somewhat erroneously) called "The Parthians."
