Che Guevara was relatively unknown before taking part of the Cuban revolution of the late 50s. By that stage Evita had been long dead, and Peron was living in exile in Spain (having been ousted in a coup in 55). The Perons as a couple and Che never met (edit but Peron and Che did meet later, clarified below).

When Peron returned to Argentina in 73, he came back with the support of a guerrilla group called the Montoneros. These took inspiration from the Cuban revolution and Che, but weren't openly Marxist, and in any case they became active after the death of Che. Peron knew about Che given the success of the Cuban revolution and the influence he had on the Montoneros. But since Peron disowned this group in 74, he likely was distrustful of Che's methods.

Edit: in fact there was an alleged meeting between Che and Peron in the mid 60s, after Evita had died, with Peron in exile in Spain. There Che allegedly told him of his plan to fight in Peru and Bolivia, a plan Peron considered madness. After Che's death in 67 Peron wrote a letter praising Che's efforts for the liberation of South America.
