There are English surnames like Worcestershire and Longbottom, and other silly sounding names. Why aren't they that common the US?
Hi OP. Perhaps you could explain more clearly what you're looking for? "Worcestershire" is not a surname in the UK: it's a placename for a county. "Longbottom" is uncommon in the UK, but does exist in the USA: there are approx 400 - see pdf of USA surnames which occur >100 times
