Hello Canadian historians of Reddit! I'm currently reading Carl Berger's seminal work and am also looking for other sources that either accentuate his thesis or go against it. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

From what I remember, Cole specifically responds to Berger and disagrees with his conflation of imperialism and nationalism, or at least adds the caveat that we ought to consider a scale between the two and that Canadians fell somewhere on it.
