OP, this might be worth x-posting to /r/MuseumPros

If you are near Brussels check out he Musee de l'Armee -- much of it is a well done modern military museum. But the older collections are a self-named "museum of a museum" -- the things are laid out as they were in the early 20th century.

It feels a bit dark, cramped and uninteractive to us moderns -- on the flip side we are talking about a world that doesn't have massively distributed images of everything.
