As announced last month several members of AskHistorians will present a panel at the American Historical Association Conference in Atlanta next January. The contributions from members of the community as well as a sizeable donation by Reddit Inc allow this event to happen.

The program for the AHA conference is now up on their website. It is awesome to see AHA Session 34 “AskHistorians”: Outreach and Its Challenges in an Online Space listed right there. A huge thank-you to everyone who contributed and to everyone who supported us in other ways!

I go away for a few months and come back to something as obscenely exciting as this. I can't wait to hear how it goes!

Very exciting! For a mildly confused moment I thought "AHA" stood for "Ask Historians Anything".
