Was enough tea dumped during the Boston Tea Party to change the harbours color or flavor? If so, for how long, and what color/taste did it have?

Colonists dumped about 46 tons of tea into the harbor and while much of it piled up right next to the wharf, that amount of tea would have been insignificant in comparison to the volume of the harbor (here is an attempt at that very calculation), not to mention the water would not have been hot enough to brew tea.
