I know part 1 was written before the Revolution takes place, but as I was reading parts 2-4 he didn't seem to go into detail about his role in it? Why does he do this?
The answer for this is fairly simply, apologies therefore if this seems rather sparse for a top-level post.
Franklin does not discuss the Revolution, because he died before finishing the autobiography.
