The short answer is: no

In the ancient world there were a lot of empires interconnected with each others as we can see by remains of goods from other kingdoms in Egypt.

Also, if I remember correctly, some goods were produced in some parts of the world to be reworked in other parts and finally the finished product was sent to other places.
