I'm trying my best to locate the building where the provisional government of the free french was based in 1940 and later, in 1944 when it re located there from Algeria.
Is there any way someone knows where it was?
4 Carlton Gardens. There's a English Heritage blue plaque there if you're going to see it. I came across a lovely blog that may interest you.
