I'm not sure either of them is strictly what you're looking for, but you might find Kristin Ross's books May '68 and Its Afterlives and Fast Cars, Clean Bodies: Decolonization and the Reordering of French Culture (which deals with the decade before 1968) interesting. There's also a seemingly more relevant book by Margaret Atack called May 68 in French Fiction and Film: Rethinking Society, Rethinking Representation, but I haven't read it and can't comment on its quality.
