What are some good resources for exploring the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?

by Rimbaud82

So, I am only vaguely aware of the general narrative of events and a lot of it is clouded in political bias. So does anyone have books or articles (or anything else) that are good as a way of reaching a more in-depth understanding of the conflict, and obviously the narrative leading up to that.

Thanks.

Johnathan Schneer's The Balfour Declaration is a great book to read. It's fairly even-handed in its portrayal of the events at hand (it tells both the struggles of Hussein and of Chaim Weizmann), and I think leaves the ultimate "blame" to the reader's discretion.
