Regardless of whether or not people believe him to be the Messiah, most people believe that Jesus, as a person, did exist. However, doing a quick search on Wikipedia, I'm not sure how much of that I can believe because a lot of the experts cited are religious scholars rather than historians.

So what do historians believe? (I may or may not have to exclude religious historians?)
