For those that are unaware, in the continent Westeros from the world of "A Song of Ice and Fire" acknowledged bastards of nobles would get a bastard surname for the area they are raised in.

So a noble bastard from the North would have the surname "Snow", with a famous example being Jon Snow, a bastard that is raised in the Vale (mountainous region) would have the surname "Stone", a bastard raised in the Storm Lands would have the surname "Storm", a bastard raised in the Reach would have the surname "Flowers" (not to be confused with Loras Tyrell, a trueborn noble with the title "Knight of Flowers"), a bastard from the riverlands would have the surname "Rivers", a bastard from the Iron Islands would have he surame "Pyke", a bastard from the Westerlands would have the surname "Hills", a bastard from Dorne would have the surname "Sand", and finally a bastard from the Crownlands would have the surname "Waters".
