I'd like something with a good explication of the historiography and archaeological evidence surrounding the Minoans, as well as a good summary or survey of "everything we think we know about" the Minoans.
I'm not sure if these are still up-to-date as far as current scholarship on the Minoans is concerned but I found both of these books very helpful when I was a student.
