There are a lot of difficult things about this question. We don't have any recordings of it, so we can't say, but we know vocal percussion has been used as long as people have made music. I really can't think of any examples past a hundred years, but I will give an example of Eefing by Sam Philips. It's an Appalachian sort of beatbox that's at least 100 years old. I hope someone can build off this.
