Yes, I personally liked 1968: The Year That Rocked The World by Mark Kurlansky, which don't just discuss the events in France 1968, but compares and draws analogue between France and similar events across the world that year. Including Prague Spring in Czechoslovakia and the protests at the democratic national convention in the US. It's not the most focused book but I personally found the narrative interesting.
