I did some searching and found some information about the "McCarran-Walter Act" or the "Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952". This gave people of Asian descent were given the right to citizenship and allowed to vote. It was put in action on June 1952. This link should give you the pdf: http://legislink.org/us/pl-82-414
