There were many religious wars and great conflict in the early modern Europe, this is not unique to France!

France's wars of religion ran from 1562 to 1598. The Schmalkaldic War in Germany ran from 1546 to 1547. The Eighty Years' War started with the Beeldenstorm around the 1560s.

It will be great if you tell us (1) whether this is a homework assignment, (2) how much background you have, and (3) how much you are willing to learn about the topic. Otherwise I'm left with recommending books from the Early modern section, or one of the threads discussing the french wars of religion.
