I've heard that Walt Disney was an anti-Semite and supported Adolf Hitler. Is there any evidence to back these claims up?

I know this is a month old, but I thought I'd answer.

Walt as far as everyone knows was not an anti semist. He would frequently call the Sherman brothers (writers of the music for Marry Poppins, Small World, etc) up to his office (they were directly below his office) for a drink and to play Walts favorite song "Feed The Birds". They were also Jewish. There were many jews on the studio lot. Many of the claims of anti semetic remarks came from fired employees. Walt HATED anything that was anti-american, so the reports that he was a Nazi are completely false. However, some historians do claim he was casual anti semitic, which is possible. Anyone who sides with Palestine could be considered anti semetic because they don't like the formation of Israel. But in terms of serious " I hate Jews, get that k*** away from me", Walt definitely wasn't that. He had a pastor on the opening day of Disneyland that represented the Jewish, Protistant, and (not 100% on this last one) Catholic faiths. He was a very patriotic man so he respected the fact that others had the right to practice their own religion just like how he has the right to practice his own religion. These rumors probably got started by people who Walt fired for not working the way he wanted them to work. That was pretty common.

He has been said to be a racist but there's no validity to that either.
