Sure he helped GER, but at the end GER is ruined because of him. Did hitler done any good things in his rise/power?
Was everything that the Nazi regime did outright evil? No. But Hitler can't be viewed in a vacuum, and it is really quite amazing how tied up in the abhorrent ideology that he preached even comparatively positive developments of the '30s can be viewed. For instance, it is a popular fact to point out that Nazi Germany was the first to recognize the health concerns of smoking and move to clamp down on it, but at the same time, the health programs of the Third Reich are tied up in "racial hygiene", and the flip-side of that coin are programs like the T4 initiative, which saw the killings of thousands of people for perceived defects which made them "life unworthy of life".
