Dabiwholas Origins of Sex is a excellent text that focuses on the history of sexuality in England, and to some extent France, from Roman to Victorian times. The book perhaps suffers from trying to take in too wide of a scope at times, but is my favorite text on the topic thus far.

Are you referring simply to the history of sex and sexuality, or are you interested in broader concepts like Gender or perhaps the LGBTQ community?

Regardless, I'd suggest Magnus Hirschfeld and the Quest for Sexual Freedom: A History of the First International Sexual Freedom Movement by Elena Mancini. How do historians typically view Foucault's History of Sexuality?

Bonk:The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex, by Mary Roach may be a good source on human coupling throughout ages. She goes over "discoveries" of sexuality, from Aristotle's texts to the female orgasm, as well as history of sex machines to Kinsey. Quite interesting and a fun read as well. Her footnotes are a riot.

This one is for you personally but not so much the booklist: The Manly Masquerade: Masculinity, Paternity, and Castration in the Italian Renaissance. I don't think it's appropriate for the booklist because it is a dense, punishing academicese read that took me like a month, but you're a hearty young academic, you can handle it. It has very solid theoretical exploration of masculinity and male sexuality in the Renaissance.

I also just finished up A Lady's Man: The Cicisbei, Private Morals and National Identity in Italy which came out at the end of last year and it was really fantastic research on the subject, and actually very readable to me, highly recommended.
